Tonight, he scorched the nets for 29 as part of a 79-62 John Carroll win.

The hot hand belonged to Shontz, who went 12 of 15 from the field, including four of six from behind the three-point arc.
JCU finished the night shooting 26-52 (.500) from the field.
Mark Hester cleaned up the offensive glass with 12 rebounds for the Blue Streaks, who won their fifth game in a row to improve to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in league play.
The win was also John Carroll's fifth in a row over the Purple Raiders.
Jimmy Wood (23 points) and Matt Wier (15) led the way for Mount Union, which fell to 3-4 and 0-2 in the OAC.
