JCU turned the tables on Case, a team that received votes in this week's D3baseball.com/NCBWA Top 25 poll, with a 16-hit attack that led to an 11-6 victory.

JCU scored seven of its 11 runs in the final three innings to break open what had been a close game.
The Blue Streaks surged ahead 4-1 but two Case runs in the bottom of the fifth cut the JCU lead down to a single tally.
Aided by a shaky Case defense, John Carroll began to pull away in the seventh. After scoring a pair of runs on RBI hits from
Ryan Konsler and Joe veltri, the Streaks added three more in the eighth. Johnny Hastings, who had a solo home run in the fourth, and
Tom Hickey plated one run each during the frame.

Robbie Bellusci earned the win in relief, improving to 2-3 on the season. Five JCU pitchers limited the Spartans to eight hits over nine innings.
