Aaron Miller batted over .300 and drove in a team-high eight runs as JCU split its eight games in Florida
Box Score John Carroll wrapped up its baseball venture in Florida with the same amount of wins as losses as the result of a 12-6 setback at the hands of Ohio Athletic Conference rival Muskingum University Saturday.
Saturday's "getaway" game got away from the Blue Streaks with five errors and two big innings.
JCU fell behind 4-0 after two innings and trailed 6-0 entering the seventh when the bats reponded. RBI hits by

Mitchell Herringshaw and
Tyler Gerling pulled the Streaks to within 6-4, but the Muskies answered with six in the bottom of the frame to put the score out of reach.
Herringshaw finished the trip by batting a team-best .500 (14-28) while
David Lykens batted .409 (9-22). Herringshaw (14) and
Mark Huddle (10) were the hit leaders, while Huddle also led in runs scored with nine. Konsler and Aaron miller led the Blue Streaks with eight RBI.
On the pitching side,
Jimmy Spagna left Florida with a 1-1 record and a 1.29 ERA in two appearances.
Kevin Rosinski was the bullpen standout, working three scoreless innings and allowing just one hit while striking out two.
JCU will be idle until facing Notre Dame College on Saturday, March 17, in Avon, Ohio.
