Box Score 2 Complete game six hitters usually are a good sign. For John Carroll sophomore pitcher
Jimmy Spagna, it proved to be an omen.
Despite allowing just one run on six hits, Spagna was a tough luck loser Thursday in Alliance, Ohio, as John Carroll fell in game one of a doubleheader, 1-0. The tough luck spilled over to game two as the Blue Streaks fell behind early and played catch up to no avail in falling, 10-6.
