Tom Hickey (#16) and Joe Bossard (#15) celebrated Senior Day at Schweickert Field Sunday afternoon
Box Score A four-run seventh inning by Wooster propelled the Fighting Scots over the John Carroll baseball team, 8-5, on senior day Sunday afternoon at Schweickert Field.
The Blue Streaks took a 5-3 lead into the seventh inning, but walks, a hit bats-man, and a throwing error were more than enough for the 2012 North Coast Athletic Conference Champion Fighting Scots to spring ahead of the Streaks in John Carroll's regular season finale.

Tom Hickey and
Joe Bossard were honored in front of the hometown faithful for their accomplishments and contributions to the JCU baseball program during the past four seasons, as the two seniors took to Schweickert Field for the very last time in their collegiate careers on a sunny afternoon in University Heights.
Bossard started on the mound and threw five strong innings, allowing only two hits and one earned run, while Hickey finished his final career home game with one hit, two walks, and two runs scored.
Hickey and Bossard will look to use their senior leadership this upcoming Thursday against No. 1 nationally ranked Marietta in the first round of the Ohio Athletic Conference Tournament. The Blue & Gold split a doubleheader with the Pioneers earlier in the season on April 22.
