Box Score The John Carroll men's basketball team came away with a hard-fought victory on Saturday against Marietta, and one Blue Streak has earned conference recognition as a result. 

Junior guard David Linane has been named the OAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week following the win against the eighth-ranked Pioneers. The Euclid native led all scorers with 27 points, adding five assists and four steals. He was 10-of-21 from the floor, hitting five three-pointers in the game.

His efforts helped propel the #10 team in the country past the Pioneers and kept JCU undefeated through nine games. Linane and the Blue Streaks are in the midst of their best start since 2004-05, and are undefeated going into Christmas for just the second time since joining the OAC in 1989.
