A six-run sixth erased that lead, and JCU dropped the final game in the series, 6-3, in Municipal Stadium.

Patrick Keohane notched the first run for JCU, singling up the middle in the first inning and scoring
Rob Cifelli. Cifelli and
Patrick Scholla each had two hits in the game, with the center fielder scoring twice.
Manchester scored on a fielders choice to tie the game in the bottom of the sixth. A double steal of second and home gave the Spartans the lead for good. An RBI single by Tanner Hampton and a three-run doubl by Tyler LaFollette broke the game open.
The Blue Streaks mounted a small rally with a
Tyler Gentile sacrifice fly in the eighth and a Scholla single in the ninth, but Mason Neuman (3.0 innings) closed out the game for his first save. Stephen Pinarski pitched six innings for the Spartans and struck out six.
