CWRU scored 11 of their 15 runs in the final two innings, including eight in the top of the ninth.
Drew Vargo drops to 0-4 after allowing two earned runs in six innings. Preston Williams (3-0) was the winning Case pitcher.
Jacob Schriner went 3-for-5 in the loss.
Rob Cifelli was 2-for-3 with two walks.

In the fourth and fifth, JCU closed the gap on a Cifelli single and Mittiga sacrifice fly.
In the ninth, with Case ahead 7-3, the Spartans took it to the JCU bullpen. Three RBI singles, a double and a deep home run to left clinched the win for Case.
