John Carroll men's lacrosse jumped out to a 5-0 lead and never looked back, defeating Wilmington 18-4 at Williams Stadium in the OAC opener. 
Stephen Leous scored a game-high four goals on four shots. 
Declan O'Grady had three goals and 
Michael Hubert and 
Collin Rice each scored two. 
JCU scored five straight goals to kick off the game, with the first two coming off of assists by 
Connor Pike. The Blue Streaks shut out the Quakers after one quarter. After a Matt Dugan goal to get the Quakers on the board, JCU ripped off three more goals. The score was 8-2 at halftime. 
In the third quarter, JCU's offense went to work again. The Blue Streaks scored seven goals, and appeared set for another shutout quarter, until Dugan scored with 2:22 left. 
A 3-1 advantage in the fourth quarter led to the 18-4 victory. JCU is 5-4 on the season.
