Coming off an All-American season, sophomore
Gwyn Ledrick picked up where she left by picking up three wins in John Carroll's season opening meet with crosstown rival Case Western Reserve University Saturday afternoon at the William H. Johnson Natatorium.

JCU fell by a score of 216-80 to the Spartans, who were ranked #21 in a national preseason poll.
Ledrik had three of the four Blue Streak wins, placing first in the 100 Breast (1:07.39), the 200 Breast (2:27.82) and the 200 IM (2:15.23).
Junior
Maddie Dolce was the other winner, touching first in the 1000 Free (11:19.22).
The Blue Streaks began the day with a second place finish in the 200 Medley Relay, as Katelin Avenir, Ledrick, Tori Vale and
Shelbi Shearer covered the distance in a time of 1:52.15.
Also earning runner-up finishes were Vale in the 100 Fly (1:00.88) and
Chloe Ruggiero in the 200 Fly (2:17.59).
JCU will host Ohio Northern next Saturday, October 27th, at 1:00 p.m.
