John Carroll was busy in Florida last week.
Seven matches in four days, including one against a Division I team, a Division II team and another against an NAIA power.
In spite of all the matches in a short amount of time, the Blue Streaks emerged with a winning record. JCU finished its seven matches with a 4-3 record.
Among the Blue Streaks victories were a 6-3 triumph over Oglethorpe out of Georgia, and 9-0 wins over Muhlenberg, Houghton and Ohio Athletic Conference rival Muskingum. The losses were a 1-6 decision against Sacred Heart (Division I), a 5-2 setback against Seton Hill (Division II) and a 4-0 loss to Ave Maria (NAIA).

Shaun Keenan got some great efforts across the board.
Alyssa Krupp led the way with four wins (4-3 record overall), and
Ellie Cole was 3-0 at #6 singles.
Also winning three matches in singles play were
Skye Harwood, Katie Mattimoe,
Megan Reese,
Anna Vitale (3-0) and
Jaclyn Voss (3-0)
In doubles play, Krupp was 5-2 playing with Mattimoe and
Emily Day.
Day was also highly successful when playing with
Roslyn Ng, posting a 3-1 mark.
Cole and Ng were 3-0 when called upon this week.
John Carroll is now 5-6 on the year.
