Each member of the 4x400 relay team achieved All-Academic status after earning All-American honors at Nationals.
NEW ORLEANS – On Thursday afternoon, the All-Academic Athletes and Teams for the 2023 NCAA Division III Men's Track & Field seasons were announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA).

To no surprise, John Carroll Men's Track & Field is well-represented.

The Blue Streaks have tallied 9 All-Academic Athletes and earned the All-Academic Team award.

The nine individual Blue Streaks to achieve the honor are Basheer Alramahi, Garrett Clark, Caleb Correia, Ethan Domitrovich, Tyler Gast, Max Grillo, Jimmy Kartsonas, Cam Klauke, and Corey Minton. Each helped to represent the Blue & Gold on a national level and got it done in the classroom.

As a team, the Blue Streaks compiled a 3.39 team GPA, a nice mark.

Over the course of the track & field campaign, the Blue Streaks enjoyed marvelous success. John Carroll finished in third place in the USTFCCCA NCAA Division III Al Carius Men's Program of the Year, which is a measure of success over the entire academic year.

Without a doubt, under the leadership of Kyle Basista & Co, the Blue Streaks have achieved new heights both on an individual and team level inside the classroom and in competition.
