Men’s Track & Field Ranked First In NCAC Pre-Championships Poll

Men's Track & Field Selected As Pre-Championship Favorite In NCAC Poll
CLEVELAND – With just one week away from the conference championships, the Blue Streaks are headed into the meet as the favorite. 

The men's track & field team enters the 2026 NCAC Indoor Track & Field Championships at number one in the pre-championships poll with a total of 77 points with six first place votes. 

In second right behind JCU is Wittenberg with 70 points and three first place votes. They will be hosting this year's indoor championships. 

Wabash College rounds up the top three with a total of 69 points. 

Finishing out the rest of the conference in the poll are Ohio Wesleyan (53), DePauw (46), Oberlin (31), Kenyon (30), Denison (20), and Wooster (9). 

The Blue Streaks have had several historic and national-level performances this season and will look to showcase their depth heading into championship racing. 

With just one week remaining until the conference championships, the Blue Streaks will return to the track this Friday, February 20th for the Ed Finnigan Invitational hosted by Case Western Reserve University.
