Men’s Track & Field Garners 14 All-Region Performances From Indoor Season

Basheer Alramahi Headlines The All-Region List For The Blue Streaks

UNIVERSITY HEIGHTS, OH – The Blue Streak men were well-represented on the national stage for the Great Lakes Region.

After coming off of a third place finish at NCACs and advancing five individuals to the NCAA Indoor Championships this season, the group tallied a total of 14 All-Region performances.

The criteria for earning this achievement is top eight individuals in each event from each region on the performance list. The top eight relays were also recognized as All-Region.

The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association announced the list of All-Region honorees on Wednesday, March 11th.

From the JCU Men's Track & Field program, the student-athletes who reached USTFCCCA All-Region status include:

Tyler Gast

4x400 Meter Relay: 1st (3:12.91)
400 Meter Dash: 5th (47.57)

Tony Tirado

4x400 Meter Relay: 1st (3:12.91)

Dustin Horner

4x400 Meter Relay: 1st (3:12.91)

Basheer Alramahi

4x400 Meter Relay: 1st (3:12.91)
200 Meter Dash: T-7th (21.65)
400 Meter Dash: 3rd (47.16)
800 Meter Run: 1st (1:50.72)

Max Grillo

800 Meter Run: 8th (1:53.71)

Ben Herczog

Heptathlon: 7th (4233)

Julius Kimbrough

High Jump: T-8th (1.99)

Jordon Rodman

Triple Jump: 4th (14.37)

Sam Su

Mile: 1st (4:07.05)
3000 Meter Run: 7th (8:33.05)

Five of the nine individuals will represent the Blue Streaks this weekend at the 2026 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships in Birmingham, Alabama.
