BASEBALL UPDATE: JCU vs. Heidelberg Now at Schweickert Field Instead of Progressive Field

The Guardians informed JCU that Progressive Field is not playable today

CLEVELAND -- John Carroll Baseball will have to wait to play at Progressive Field.

Rain overnight in Cleveland combined with a cold, cloudy forecast for today and more rain upcoming on Friday has led the Cleveland Guardians to call off the game at Progressive Field. The field is not playable for JCU vs. Heidelberg.

John Carroll will now host Heidelberg at Schweickert Field with a 1:00 pm first pitch.

Since it is so late in the regular season, a reschedule is not possible. The Blue Streaks and Guardians will work on planning a game for next year at Progressive Field.
