Men’s Track & Field Competes In Two Last Chance Meets At Mount Union & Augustana College

ALLIANCE, Ohio & ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Blue Streaks closed out the 2026 outdoor regular season this evening.

A small group of the athletes competed at the Midwest Twilight Final Qualifier hosted at Augustana College, while another few traveled to the University of Mount Union. 

The 4x400 meter relay highlighted the week for the men's track & field team as they will now wait for final selections to be announced for next week's 2026 NCAA Outdoor Championships.

Ethan Show (100 Meter Dash): 10.71
Tim Herczog (200 Meter Dash): 22.65
Basheer Alramahi (400 Meter Dash): 47.46
Chris Whiting (1500 Meter Run): 3:54.73
Basheer Alramahi, Tyler Gast, Jack Arnold, & Tony Tirado (4x400 Meter Relay): 3:10.83
Julius Kimbrough (High Jump): 2.01 (6' 7")
Jordon Rodman (Triple Jump): 14.15 (46' 5.25")

At Mount Union, sophomore Ethan Show earned a new personal best in the 100 meter dash with a time of 10.71 seconds. 

Tim Herczog was another sprinter from JCU who earned a new personal best. In the 200 meter dash, he placed 46th overall with a time of 22.65 seconds. 

The men's 4x400 meter relay of Basheer Alramahi, Tyler Gast, Jack Arnold, & Tony Tirado earned a time of 3:10.83 and are now sitting at 13th in Division III with that time.

The men's track & field program will now wait for final selections to be made tomorrow (Friday, May 15th) for the 2026 NCAA Outdoor Track & Field Championships in LaCrosse, Wisconsin next Thursday-Saturday, May 21st-23rd.
