Coming into his third season as a Blue Streak after two years as a spot starter and occasional reliever with the pitching stafff ... Appeared in 24 games in 2007 without committing a single error ... Of the 16 games he started in 2007, team went 13-3 ... In the three games he started in right field his freshmen year, JCU went 3-0 ... Has shown power at times, as seven of his career  24 hits have been for extra bases ... Attended Prairie Ridge (IL) High School, where he hit a home run in a sectional playoff game ... A Chemistry/Biology double major .... Carries a 3.3 GPA ... Dean's List student ... Son of Frank and Georgianne Pangallo.
