Biography

An accomplished student-athlete who has struck an impressive balance between soccer, studies and social justice during her first three years at John Carroll ... On the heels of an all-conference campaign in 2010, will be counted on for both leadership and saves in 2010

2010
Provided  eight saves against Westminster which contributed to her third shutout of the season, and added to her 11 career shutouts (9/21/10)...4th shutout of the 2010 season and 12 career shutouts (9/29)...Ranked 1st in saves and 2nd in shut outs for the OAC category leaders...Named second team All-OAC... Ends her last season as a Blue Streak with a total of 105 saves and a save percentage of .875...Collectivley  Gradowski ends her career as a Blue Streak playing a total of 44 games, a total of 229 saves, and a save percentage of .867.

2009
Solid play guarding the net earned her second team All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors ... On the year, tallied 116 saves on the season to rank first in the OAC in that category ... Also ranked third in OAC with seven shutouts in 2009 ... Finished the year 43rd in save percentage (.859) and 87th in goals allowed average (.936) in all of Division III ... Earned OAC Player of the Week accolades by making a career-high 14 saves in a 0-0 tie with then #8 ranked Otterbein (10/21/09), and three more saves in a 2-0 win over Wilmington (10/24/09)

2008
Unsung hero of 2008 campaign, making two key starts late in the season to help JCU qualify for OAC Tournament, including a 2-0 shutout over crosstown rival Baldwin-Wallace (10/29/08) ... Went 1-1-1 in her four matches played.  

High School
Arrived at John Carroll following a successful playing career at Georgetown Visitation High School in suburban Washington, DC … Was named first team ISL (Independent School League) and first team All-District of Columbia by the Washington Post … Named her team’s Most Improved Player as a senior, as she helped her school finish in second place in the ISL ... Held an officer’s post in the Buddies Against Drunk Driving organization at Georgetown Visitation …

Academics & Personal
Carries an overall grade point average of 3.36 as a Psychology major with a Spanish minor ... Member of the prestigious Aruppe Scholars Program at John Carroll ... Also tied in with the Presidential Leadership program and the Honors Program ... Has participated in campus ministry immersion programs to Nicarauga, Mexico, and West Virginia ... Will be part of the first JCU program to work in Rwanda in January of 2011 ...
