Comes to team following a stint as a defensive lineman for the Blue Streaks football team ... Adds serious depth to the heavyweight ranks for the Streaks and will look to compete for the top spot with fellow heavyweights Tim Lambert, Will Porter, Mark Dormann and Drew Place.

Member of national championship team at St. Edward High School, where he earned two letters ... Qualified for the state tournament twice ... Won four team state titles at St. Edwards ... Wrestled in the National Fila Cadet tournament and finished in 4th place with All-American status.
