Last year with the Blue Streaks he played in nine games and caught 4 balls for 35 yards…His longest catch he had on the year was an 11 yard catch…He averages a catch at about 8.8 yards a completion… As a sophomore, led the team in yards per reception (17.9) ...

2008
Played in nine games total in 2008 ... Best game of the season came against Muskingum (11/8/08) when he reeled in three grabs for 56 yards ... Saw action in eight games overall, including each of the final six during his freshman season for the Blue Streaks ... 

2007
Earned his first varsity letter primarily by playing on the special teams unit ...

High School
Finished his high school career with a First Team All-Ohio Division IV honor, a team Offensive Player of the Year award, and a selection to the All-Conference team his senior year at Trinity High School ... Was one of four 2007 JCU recruits selected to play in the 35th Annual Cuyahoga County East-West High School All-Star Game ... Carried a 3.5 grade point average in three years at Trinity High School.

Recieved Dean's List honors as a Marketing and Logistics major at JCU ... Currently owns a 3.55 grade point average... Son of Niel and Kathy Rentz.
