Smith has led the team in both races so far in 2010, and will be counted on by Coach Ford to help pace the Blue Streaks in 2010. He's a very talented runner, and still just a junior.

2010
Has two top-20 finishes in his first two races of his junior season ... Placed fifth in the Ric Sayre Invitational with a time of 26:33.06 on Sept. 11 for his highest finish of his career to date...Top placed Blue Streak at the 2010 National Catholic Championships with a time of 27:16 and finished in the top 100 of all the division standings (83rd overall)...Placed 13th overall at the 34th Annual Father Leeber S.J invitational with a time of 27:43.99(9/25)
2009
Competed in seven races for the Blue Streaks in his sophomore season ... Earned three top-25 individual performances ... His top finish was 13th at the season opening Bill Sudeck Invitational, hosted by Case Western University ... His brother Tim finished a handful of spots ahead of him.

2008
Competed in eight races asa freshman ... Had three top-30 finishes ... His 13th place finish as the Ric Sayre Invitational was his highest finish of the season.

High School
Attended Covington Latin (OH) High School ... Is the school record holder for 1,600 meter race ... Was a state qualifier in both his junior and senior years ... Finished sixth in the 3,200 meter track race his senior year ... Earned varsity letters in track and field, cross country and soccer.

Son of Michael and Janice Smith ... His brother, Tim, was a cross country runner at Case Western Reserve University.
