Biography

Comes into the 2012 season with three years under his belt. Should help the Blue Streaks win important 157 pound matches.

2011-2012
Did not compete due to injury.

2010-2011
Was awarded Athlete of the Week (11/30/10) for his top finishes for the Blue Streaks in past two matches against Cleveland State and at the Catholic Invitational Tournament. Against Cleveland State, Pizzuli won in the 157 lb weight class as one of the only two victories in the match ... At the National Catholic Invitational, Pizzuli finished in third place with a 2-1 finish in the 157 lb weight class.

2009
Put together seven wins on the season, most notably a 7-0 shutout victory over Wilmington (1/19/10) ... Played a key role a week later against Muskingum on Senior Night, recording a 7-4 victory.

High School
Was a member of St. Edward's "Green Team" all four years of high school.  

Academic & Personal
His father is a JCU alumnus (Greg Pizzuli '77) ... Sociology and Criminology major at JCU ... Plans to attend Police Academy after graduation ... Son of Greg and Denise Pizzuli.
