A talented athlete who will be making a position switch from defense to offense in 2011 ... After spending time as a defensive back in his first year as a Blue Streak, will convert to the offensive backfield to help shore up depleted running back numbers.

Made the transfer from Mount Ida College (in Newton, MA) to John Carroll where he spent his time learning the defensive backfield at the junior varsity level.

Ranked as a top skill player in conference ... Once rushed for 112 yards and two TD's in first quarter of game ... Played varsity baseball and basketball at Honeoye Falls high school in Honeoye Falls, NY.

Logistics/Marketing major at John Carroll ... Carries a 3.0 GPA ... In his one year at Mount Ida, was a member of the High Dean's List ... Son of Lori and Chris Budynas.
