Played in nine of ten games for the Blue Streaks in 2006 ... Started in two games during his junior season ... Recorded 18 tackles on the season, 6.5 of which were for a loss ... Second on the team in sacks with 3.5 ... Tremendous athlete with great potential, has basically learned on the job as he had very limited football experience in high school ... Played in nine contests in 2005, primarily on special teams, to earn his first varsity letter ... Recorded his first collegiate tackle — an assisted sack of seven yards — in JCU’s road win at Marietta (9/24/05) ... Was much more accomplished as a basketball player in his prep years, earning two varsity letters and playing in the North Coast All-Star Game as a senior at Lakewood High School ...
