2017 Outdoor
Alex Ryan had a short but very good 2017 outdoor track season. He finished in the top-10 in 2 events and an 18th place finish in his third. He was able to beat his previous career best in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:17.55 at the Walsh University Invitational. He also had a career best in the 5000-meter run at the BW Harrison Dillard Twilight, which, by shaving almost 20 seconds off his previous best earned him 5th place in a time of 15:55.35.

2017 Indoor
Ryan finished in the top-10 6 out of 9 times he raced in the 2017 season. He ran a career best in the mile with a time of 4:34.46 at the Ohio Athletic Conference Indoor Championships, which earned him 8th place. He also finished 3rd in his 1000-meter race at the 2017 BW Mid-February Meet in 2:43.96.

2016 Cross Country
Opened the season with a 29 second PR in the 6k from the year before at the Sudeck Sunset Classic Stampede, placing 19th (20:43) ... At the Yellow Jacket Invitational, Alex ran in his first JCU 8k, finishing in 27:35.2, good for 54th ... Placed 177th at the All Ohio XC Championships, running in 28:40.8 in the 8k ... Ran a two minute 16 second the next race at the Inter-Regional Rumble for 77th place (26:24.7) ... Came in 48th overall at the OAC Championship.

2016 Outdoor
In his first track race for the Blue & Gold, Ryan ran the 1500m in 4:21.33 at the Mount Union - Homon Invite, crossing the line in 29th ... He raced in three separate 5k's, his best coming at the 47th Annual Sparky Adams Invite, finishing in 16:14.49 which was good for 10th place. 

2015-16 Indoor
Did not compete.

2015 Cross Country
He ran two races in his JCU debut ... Placed 24th in the 6k at the Sudeck Sundown Classic (21:12) ... Finished the Behrend Invite in 34th, running 28:34 for 4.98M.

Prepped at Perry High School...Received County/League honors in cross country ... Graduated in Top 25 of class with a 4.3 GPA ... Member of the National Honor Society ... AP Scholar of Distinction.
