Scott Shantery - Player Development
Scott is entering his 1st season in Player Development, after spending 8 seasons as Associate Coach with the Bluestreak’s. Scott moves into his new role with the Streaks, as he takes on the additional responsibility of rebuilding the hockey program at his High School Alma mater Villa Angela-St Joes as the Head Coach.
Scott returned home to John Carroll after serving as the Goalie Coach for the Mahoning Valley Phantoms of the NAHL for three seasons. During Scott's stay in Mahoning Valley the organization made 2 National Tournament Appearances. In addition to Scott's experience in the North American Hockey League, Scott served one season as the Head Coach at John Carroll and guided Talawanda High School to there 1st Final Four as Head Coach in 2004. Scott's brings a experience and a successful background to the Bluestreaks.
Scott is a JCU Alumni and one of the top players to ever play at John Carroll. Backstopping the Bluestreaks in net for four seasons, earning ACHA All-American Honors.
