JOHN CARROLL IN THE SUPER BOWL: FAST FACTS
  • David Caldwell '96, Jarrod Kilburn ‘14 and, former JCU coach Joe Kasper won Super Bowl LIX with the Philadelphia Eagles. Kilburn and Kasper became the 22nd and 23rd Blue Streaks to win the Big Game. Caldwell has now won a Super Bowl with two teams, joining Don Shula '51.
  • Super Bowl LIX marked the seventh consecutive Super Bowl that at least one Blue Streak earned a ring
  • There have been 77 instances where a Blue Streak participated in the Super Bowl. A total of 26 individuals from the University have been present in "The Big Game" in its history. 
  • 29 Super Bowls in 59 years have featured at least one representative from John Carroll University, including nine straight years with a Blue Streak employed by a participating team (since Super Bowl LI)
  • Jalen Myrick's three Super Bowl rings is tied for third-most by a Blue Streak (Josh McDaniels '99 and Nick Caserio '98 have five, while Jerry Schuplinski '99, '02G and David Ziegler '01 each have three Super Bowl rings)
  • In all games, Blue Streaks hold an overall record of 47-30, though there have been six matchups over the years that featured familiar faces on both sidelines (Super Bowls XXXVI, XLVII, LI, LV, LVII, LIX)
