Anthony Mendoza will be entering his first season with John Carroll baseball as a volunteer assistant in 2018. He will be responsible for coaching outfielders and working with head coach Marc Thibeault to create defensive game plans.
In addition to his work at Carroll, Mendoza is also a head coach at Force Sports in addition to being a coach for Creation of Christ Athletics.
During his undergrad, Mendoza played for three seasons as a shortstop at the University of Fresno in California. He also served as an undergrad assistant and a coach & scout for Team Avenue Baseball Academy.
A 2015 graduate, Mendoza earned his Bachelor of Arts in Social Work. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Recreation and Sport Sciences from Ohio University.
