A native of Bellevue, Ohio, Travis returns for his second season with the Blue Streaks. Travis will instruct the JCU infielders, assist with hitting duties and act as the team's third base coach.
Coach Brown enjoyed a successful baseball career. Brown had stints at Glen Oaks Community College and Youngstown State University before finishing his career at Notre Dame. He was a two-time second team All-AMC performer. Brown batted .363 and tied the single-season hit record at NDC with 61 base hits.
Travis graduated from Notre Dame with a degree in Psychology.
