Tyler McCormick

Tyler McCormick enters his first season with the John Carroll baseball program. He currently serves as the pitching coach.
 
Prior to John Carroll, McCormick served as an assistant coach at the University of Mount Union, where he assisted with recruiting initiatives and designing gameday and in-game strategies.
 
McCormick also held a two-season assistant coaching stint at Hiram College. Predominantly focusing on pitcher development, he coached two all-conference selections in addition to the 2017 North Coast Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year. He also designed individual pitching regimens and the team strength and conditioning program.
 
At the high school level, McCormick was the varsity pitching coach at Stow-Munroe Falls High School, where he guided the Bulldogs to a district title and regional championship in 2016.       
 
As a player, McCormick was a pitcher at Mount Union from 2010-2012.
 
A December 2015 graduate of the University of Akron, McCormick graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education. He also earned his Master of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies from Hiram College in May 2018.
