Vinny Trivisonno

Vinny Trivisonno, a former JCU relief pitcher joined the coaching staff as an assistant for the 2014 season. Trivisonno's will see an expanded role with the Blue Streaks’ recruiting efforts in addition to serving as the first base coach.
 
“We are excited to have Vinny back our staff,” said Thibeault. “He is an up-and-coming coach with a high passion level for coaching and John Carroll. His role will remain the same on the field assisting Coach Bell with our pitchers and game day bullpen coach. He will increase his role in the office where his extensive knowledge of the University and JCU baseball program will be on display. He will assume a more aggressive role in the recruitment of potential prospects, both on and off campus.” 

As a pitcher, Trivisonno logged 17 appearances over his career. He finished his career with 22.2 innings pitched and 12 strikeouts on the mound.
 
Said Trivisonno, “It is a great opportunity for me as a young coach just starting out. Also, as an alumnus and a former player at John Carroll, I am excited to help this program continue to grow and develop and maintain our position as one of the top programs in the Ohio Athletic Conference, at the regional level and national level.”

The former Academic All-OAC and Dean's List student graduated with a Bachelor's in exercise science.
