Anthony Ritossa enters his first season on the John Carroll University Football coaching staff in the 2021-22 academic year. He serves as an assistant coach leading the defensive line.
Ritossa came to JCU after spending two years with the University of Pittsburgh football program working as an academic counselor and assisting with recruiting efforts. Prior to the University of Pittsburgh, he assisted the University of Alabama at Birmingham and University of Connecticut football programs.Â
Ritossa had a successful playing career at the University of Akron from 2010-2015 playing tight end for the Zips. Â After his playing career ended, he assisted the Zips as a graduate assistant.
Ritossa graduated from the University of Akron in 2014 with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and earned his Masters of Public Administration in 2016.
