Jeff Fink enters his second season as the offensive coordinator for the Blue Streaks.

In 2018, Fink led the offense to No. 1 in the OAC in rushing with 258.3 yards per game. He also coached sophomore running back Michael Canganelli to No. 2 in rushing touchdowns in the conference with 17 touchdowns.

Fink is a former Bowling Green State University football player who made a name for himself as a successful high school football coach in Northeast Ohio. He joined the John Carroll University football staff as its offensive coordinator.

Prior to arriving at JCU, Fink spent his past three seasons as the head coach for Charles F. Brush High School in neighboring Lyndhurst, Ohio. He rebuilt the Arcs program, starting with a 1-9 season in 2015, improving to 4-6 in 2016, and culminating with a 9-3 campaign in 2017. Brush won the Western Reserve Conference championship and made the OHSAA Division II state playoffs in 2017, winning its first round game before losing to the eventual state champions in the second round.

For his efforts, Fink was one of four northeast Ohio coaches to earn "Coach of the Year" honors in 2017 from Sam Rutigliano's Inner Circle Foundation, named after the former longtime Cleveland Browns coach.

Brush High School was Fink's first head coaching job, but not his first coaching assignment. He had spent the previous six seasons (2009-2014) on Steve Trivisonno's staff at Mentor (OH) High School, first as its offensive line coach and the last three years as its offensive coordinator. During Fink's three seasons as offensive coordinator, Mentor averaged 40 points per game, including the 2012 season in which Ohio's Mr. Football Mitch Trubisky, now with the Chicago Bears, helped the Cardinals make a deep playoff run. Mentor reached the state championship game (2013), a state semifinal (2012) and a regional final (2014) in those three seasons.

Fink was a four year letterwinner on the offensive line at Bowling Green, starting as an offensive tackle in his senior year. He was part of a Mid-American Conference championship team in 2007.

A native of Willoughby, Ohio, Fink graduated from South High School in 2004.
