John Carroll University Athletics

Phillip Miller enters his third season at John Carroll University as an Athletic Equipment and Facilities Manager. At JCU Miller oversees equipment and game operations for 18 of John Carroll's 23 sports.

A Philadelphia, Pa. native, Miller earned a Bachelor's degree in Health and Physical Education from Edinboro University (PA) and a Master's in Sports Management from Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP).

Prior to JCU, he worked at Duquesne University in Facility Operations and Game Management.

While pursuing a postgraduate degree, Miller served as a graduate assistant for the IUP football team, coordinating video operations. In addition, he assisted with the IUP recreation department in developing athletic guidelines, risk management, and gameday operations.

A former color commentator for Edinboro's football and basketball teams, he is a member of the Alumni Board of the Edinboro Chapter of the Theta Chi fraternity.

Miller also interned in the athletic office at Cathedral Prep High School in Erie, PA while an undergraduate.
