Ryan Gravel has joined the John Carroll University football staff as an offensive assistant for the 2014 season. Gravel’s duties will include serving as the offensive quality control coach and assistant wide receivers coach.
Prior to JCU Gravel served as wide receivers coach at Ave Maria University for the 2013 season. He helped guide the team to an 8-2 record.
Gravel has extensive experience in the sports industry outside of coaching. He served as a sales associate for Under Armour for 11 months. He was also an athletic department intern at Florida Gulf Coast. Gravel assisted with game day management for both basketball teams. He was a part of the athletic department during FGCU’s Sweet 16 tournament run in 2013.
He assisted with game day operations for the Ft. Myers Miracle, the Single A affiliate of the Minnesota Twins during the 2012 season. Gravel’s duties included helping execute game day promotions.
He graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University with a degree in sport management in 2013.
