As the quarterback for the Columbus (OH) DeSales High School football team, finished with 1,130 yards rushing and 23 touchdowns and completed 31 of 57 passes for 658 yards with seven touchdowns and three interceptions in 2014 ... Also served as the team punter, as he averaged 33.8 yards per boot ... Honorable mention all-state and first team all-district in 2014 ... Guided the Stallions to a 10-3 record and their first OHSAA playoff berth in three years ... Played for head coach Ryan Wiggins ... Ended career ranked seventh all-time in rushing yardage ... Honor Roll all four years of high school ... Involved in Math Club and Student Ambassadors.
