Tim Robertson

Tim Robertson Jr. enters his 15th season as John Carroll’s Strength and Conditioning Coach, handling all strength and performance training duties for the entire athletic department in the 2025-26 school year.

Robertson has worked in the strength and conditioning professions for nearly 30 years. He has also founded and operates Speed Strength Systems in Chesterland, Ohio, a performance training company that prepares athletes for sport competition, serving clients of all ages. Some clients include, JCU standout and recently retired Washington Redskin London Fletcher, Ohio State and NFL standouts Donte Whitner, Ted Ginn Jr, also Super Bowl Champions Julian Edelman, Mario Manningham and Joe Jurevicius, and NBA’s LeBron James, Ben Simmons, DeJounte Murray, Trey Lyles, and Nene.

Prior to opening Speed Strength in 2000, he served as Assistant Strength Coach at the University of Miami (Fla), the University of Dayton and Ohio University.

Robertson earned his Bachelor’s degree in Education & Exercise Science from the University of Dayton, and his Master’s degree in Sport Physiology from Ohio University, in Athens, Ohio.
