Dave Wojciechowski is entering his third season as an assistant coach in the 2025-26 basketball season.
In each of his first two seasons, the Blue Streaks won the OAC regular season and tournament crowns. The Blue Streaks appeared in both the 2025 and 2025 NCAA Tournaments under his watch. Wojciechowski has provided excellent leadership in a number of areas as the program's full-time assistant coach on staff.Â
Wojciechowski, a Cleveland native, graduated from St. Joseph's High School (now Villa Angela-St. Joseph High School) in 1990. In his senior year, he was named to the All-Ohio third team. Wojciechowski was fortunate enough to attend and play college basketball on full scholarship at Division II Clarion University.
After his playing days, he graduated from Cleveland State in 2000, which led him to receive his masters' degree in school counseling in 2014. Wojciechowski has been coaching in Northeast Ohio for 28 years, 22 of those years as a head coach.
He spent 11 years as head coach at his alma mater, VASJ, from 2000-2010. In 2012, he became the head coach at Painesville Harvey High School. Wojciechowski recorded his 300th career win as a coach in February 2023.
