John Carroll University Athletics

The lone senior on the team will be looked at to provide leadership to a relatively young Blue Streak squad. Has shown an ability to score down low while cleaning the glass - and his team will certainly need him to rebound in 2010-11.

2010-2011
Has scored in double digits in all of his games so far this season...Ranked number 10 in scoring and offensive rebounds and number eight in blocked shots for the OAC Individual basketball statistic

2009-10
Played in 21 games and started three for the Blue Streaks in his junior campaign ... Was fourth on the team with 8.6 points per game ... Finished third on the team with 4.3 rebounds per contest, including 1.6 offensive rebounds per game which was second on the team ... Provided a nice presence down low as he was third on the team in blocked shots with 15 rejections ... Shot .716 from the charity stripe.

2008-09
Was a second team All-OAC choice in 2008-2009 … Started all 30 games for John Carroll as a sophomore …Topped the squad with 32 blocked shots, which was fourth best in the Ohio Athletic Conference ... He was also second on the team with 12.4 points per game and 5.4 rebounds per contest … Reached double-figures in scoring 24 times  … Earned Most Valuable Player honors for the 2008-09 OAC Tournament ... Was also named to the all-tournament teams at both the 2008 Buffalo State College Coles Classic and the 2008 Car Coop Weenie Miller Memorial Holiday Hoops Tournament at Hampden Sydeny Tournament.

2007-08
Played in 26 games and started the final five of the season while finishing second on the 2007-08 team in scoring as a freshmen while also picking up his first letter ... Led the team in blocks as a freshman with 14 ... Scored a season and still career-high 31 points against Wilmington (2/23/08) ... Reached double-figures in points nine times.

High School
Hails from Villa Angela-Saint Joseph High School where he was a starter on the 2006 state runner-up team as well as the 2005 state semifinalist squad ... Received All-Ohio Honorable Mention during his senior season with the Vikings.

A communications major with a concentration in broadcasting ... Son of Maurice and Carol Haynes.
