2022 Cross Country
  • Won the NCAA Division III National Championship in a time of 24:37.6 at Michigan State's Forest Akers Golf Course (11/19/2022). Phillip bested the field by 2.4 seconds to become just the fifth runner in Division III history to win back-to-back National Championships. His performance helped lead the team to a back-to-back 4th place in the country podium finish.
  • Won the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championship in a time of 23:56.7 to earn All-Region honors and lead the Blue Streaks to a first place team finish (11/12/2022). This marks Phillip's second and back-to-back Regional Championship win.
  • Won the 2022 OAC Championships by an impressive 23.4 seconds, earning first-team OAC honors and defending his OAC title from 2021 (10/29/2022). Phillips is now the only 2-time OAC Championships winner in program history.
  • Earned his fourth career USTFCCCA award for Men's Cross Country Runner of the week (10/04/2022)
  • Named the OAC Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for the fourth time in his career (10/03/2022)
  • Placed 7th amongst 416 top DI, II, and III runners during the gold division at the Paul Short Invitational in a PR time of 23:14.7 (09/30/2022). This new 8k mark improved on his previous one (at the 2021 DIII National Championships) by 12.9 seconds.
  • Started his final John Carroll season strong with a runner-up finish at the MSU Spartan Invitational with an 8k time of 24:29.11 (09/16/2022)
2021 Cross Country 
  • Named OAC and USTFCCCA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. (9/20/21)
  • Won the All-Ohio Championships with a time of 24:52.1, besting the field (including DI, DII, and DIII runners) by 4.6 seconds (9/17/21)
  • Placed 6th with a big PR of 23:39.2 in the Men's Gold Division of the Paul Short Invitational. (10/01)
  • Named OAC and USTFCCCA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week for second time this season. (10/04)
  • Won the Oberlin Inter-Regional Rumble (306 overall runners) by 8.3 seconds with a time of 24:59.5. (10/16)
  • Phillip won the OAC Championships by a whopping 46.5 seconds (24:07.8), leading his team to the first conference win in program history. In addition, he set the Wilmington course record, smashing the previous record by 27 seconds. (10/30)
  • Named USTFCCCA Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week. (11/01)
  • Won the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional Championship in a time of 24:27.4 to earn All-Region honors and lead the Blue Streaks to a first place team finish. (11/13)
  • Won the NCAA Division III National Championship in a course-record time of 23:27.6 at Sawyer State Park in Louisville, KY. Besting the field by nearly three seconds, Phillip became John Carroll's and the OAC's first individual cross country national champion. His performance helped lead the team to place 4th in country. (11/20)
2019 Cross Country 
  • Finished second in the first race of the season at the Sudeck Classic Stampede just behind his teammate with a time of (19:22.2) 
  • Placed 7th at the Knight Invite, clocking in at 25:27.4 (9/7)
  • Ran at the Pre-Nats Invite, placing 16th with a time of 24:51.1 (10/5)
  • Placed second in a team Runner-up performance at the OAC Championships with a time of 25:35.3, earning first team All-OAC (11/2) 
  • Placed fifth in the DIII Great Lakes Regional Championship with a time of 24:11.91 to help his team to a (program best) third overall finish (11/16) 
  • At the 2019 DIII National Championships he placed 15th overall with a time of 24:46.0, earning All-American status and being the only freshman to finish in the top 25 spots. (11/23)
