2016 Outdoor
Began the season with a 3rd place finish in the 5k (15:35.13) at the 2016 Adidas Winthrop University Invite ... finished a 1500m race in 4:16.45, just 4 tenths from his PR at the Mount Union Homon Open ... In mid-April, he ran his first 10k in a year, notching 7th place in 32:54.76 at the Bison Outdoor Classic ... At OAC outdoor, he took on both the 5k and 10k, finishing 11th in the 5k (15:43.98) and 5th in the 10k (32:16.28).
2015-16 Indoor
Placed 9th in the indoor opener at the Mount Union OAC Split meet in the 3k ... At the Joe Banks Invite, Kazek finished in 25th place in the 800, running a personal best time of 2:09.32 ... The next week at the BW Februrary meet, he broke another personal record, this time in the 3k, crossing in 9:01.38 in 4th place ... He added to his hot streak the following week at the Kent State Tune Up, PRing in the mile, running 4:28.25 and finished 22nd ... Ended the season at the OAC indoor, placing 7th in the 5k (15:29.39).
2015 Cross Country
Finished 13th in the Sudeck Sundown Classic, running 20:43.5 in the 6k ... At the Behrend Invite, he was the 9th finisher in a 4.98 mile race ... Placed 88th at the All-Ohio XC Championship in a time of 25:57.9 ... At the OAC, Kazek had his best race of the year, finishing 15th in the 8k, running 25:52.6.
2015 Outdoor
Scored important points for JCU at several highly competitve meets ...1st place finisher in the 10K at the DIII All-Ohio T&F Championships at 32:13.26 ... 3rd in the 10K at the OAC Championships crossing at 31:14.63 ... 3rd in the 1500 at the OWU Ron Althoff Final Qualifying meet at 4:16.17.
2014-15 Indoor
Accomplished several personal records ... 6th at the Otterbien Invitational in the mile run finishing at 4:33.16 ... 9th at the YSU Indoor Invitational in the 5K with a personal best of 15:13.15 ... Finished the 3K at the Kent State Tune-up at 9:03.86.
2014 Cross Country
Continued to improve as a sophomore ... Earned second team All-OAC honors with 16th-place finish navigating course at 27:55.57 ... Finished 25th at All-Ohio Championships to help JCU to its first-ever All-Ohio title ... Placed 69th at regionals.
