Michael Dorn

Former Montclair State University All-American Michael Dorn has joined the John Carroll University men’s lacrosse team as its new graduate assistant.

Dorn, a standout goalkeeper for the Red Hawks, was a 2-time USILA All-American and a USILA Scholar All-American. He was named to the Capital One Academic® All-America At-Large Team.

As a senior, Dorn led the Red Hawks to the highest ranking in program history at 10th and helped guide Montclair State to a 16-2 record including a win over a top-10 program. The 2-time Skyline Conference player of the year was chose to play in the Division III North-South Senior All-Star Game and was the Division III Player of the Week after leading Montclair State to a win over No. 6 Dickinson.

Dorn’s 7.01 career goals against average is the best all-time at Montclair State and 24th all-time nationally. He was named the Sam Mills Most Outstanding Male Athlete of the Year at Montclair State and was in Chi Alpha Sigma, the National College Athlete Honor Society.

Dorn graduated with a degree in management with a concentration in business administration.

The 3-sport standout at North Warren Regional High School lettered in soccer, lacrosse and wrestling.

He will be pursuing his MBA at John Carroll.
