Mike Perrino is in his fourth year with the John Carroll University lacrosse program. He serves as an assistant coach under fourth-year head coach, Joe Rautenstrauch.
Perrino has helped guide the Blue Streaks to two OAC regular-season titles, three OAC tournament titles, and two NCAA tournament victories (2017, 2019).
The 2019 squad also broke several single-season records, including goals (289), assists (187), points (476), and goals per game (14.45).
During his coaching stint at John Carroll, Perrino has coached 26 All-OAC selections, nine Academic All-OAC honorees, and three OAC position players of the year.
Perrino came to John Carroll after playing for four seasons at the collegiate level. After starting his career out at The College of Wooster, Perrino then transferred to Roanoke College before landing at Canisius College for two seasons. During his junior and senior campaigns, he was named to the MAAC All-Academic Team.
A 2017 MLL champion, Perrino is a member of the Ohio Machine in Columbus, Ohio. He has also spent time coaching local club lacrosse with Burning River and The Force.
