Jarrod McDowell enters his first year as the graduate assistant of the men's soccer program in the 2020-21 school year. McDowell's primary responsibility will be taking over the head coaching responsibilities of the reserve team.
Prior to joining the coaching staff, McDowell was a 4 year letter winner for the Blue Streaks earning All-OAC honors during the 2018 season. McDowell appeared in 68 games tallying 8 goals and 9 assists over his career. He was also an All-OAC performer for the men's track & field team.
His sister Maddie ('17), was also a former John Carroll Volleyball player and graduate assistant.
McDowell graduated in May of 2019 with a degree in marketing from the Boler School of Business.
