2016-17
Tyler racked up honors over the course of the 2016-2017 season, including a 2016 OAC Honorable Mentioned, 2016 John Carroll Athlete of the Week, 2017 John Carroll Athlete of the Week, 2016 8-0 in both singles and doubles in conference play, 2017 8-0 in singles and 7-1 in doubles, 2017 15-6 singles record and 12-12 doubles record. 2016 13-7 singles record, and 15-7 doubles record ... He went 3-1 overall in singles throughout the fall ... Finished in the round of 64 at ITA Central Region Championships ... Went 1-2 with Nick Siciliano in doubles ... Won his fifth singles match to lift JCU to a win against Marian University - Indiana ... Won his fifth singles match in narrow loss to Oberlin ... Went 5-0 at the OAC Tournament from May 2-6 ... Took down a victory at third doubles against Goucher in the first round of the NCAA Tournament (5/12).

2015-16
13-7 for the year in singles play and 15-7 in doubles ... Was undefeated in OAC play, with a 12-0 record in both singles and doubles matches ... Finished the year with 23 career singles victories through two seasons with the Blue Streaks ... Won the number three doubles event and number five singles event in the team's first round NCAA Tournament match against Carthage (5/13/2016) ... ... Won final seven matches in doubles with Nick Siciliano as his partner.

2014-15
Earned a 10-2 record during his freshman season with the Blue Streaks … Had a major victory in the Number Six singles in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Tournament … Won in straight sets to help the team win the OAC Championship for the first time since 2006 … Was a part of a doubles duo that helped the squad to a doubles sweep against Marietta in the OAC Tournament.

Majoring in Business Management with a minor in Entrepreneurship, interning with AVI Foodsystem Inc. and intending on either entering a leadership development program with a large firm, or working for his dad in their family business.... Active participant of Labre and Boler Community Day of Service, of the Student Athletic Advising Council, providing insight into the student Athlete experience and to be a communicator between administrator and coaches, and of the Ecuador Immersion Program ... Volunteered with disabled children at the Youthability Spinning program ... Son of Paula and Tom Cole.
