Genny Goergen, the 2013 OAC Midfielder of the Year makes the transition from playing to coaching as the women's soccer graduate assistant.
The Williamsville, N.Y. native capped her career with NSCAA/Continental Tire All-Great Lakes Region honors and was a two-time first team All-OAC selection.
Goergen started a program-best 81 games during her career scoring 13 goals and distributing 12 assists. She netted a career-best five goals as a sophomore. The then-senior scored the game-winning goal in the second overtime against Ohio Northern that sent John Carroll to their third straight OAC Tournament title match.
She will be pursuing her MBA.
