Mari O'Neill is in her second season as a graduate assistant for the John Carroll women's soccer team.
A 2012 graduate of JCU, she was a four-year letterwinner and two-time All-Ohio Athletic Conference defender.  In the 2010 postseason awards, O'Neill was named to the All-OAC second team. Her performance over the course of 2011 season earned her first team accolades. In the last two seasons, O'Neill was a leader of a defense which allowed 1.02 goals per game while posting a record of 23-15-4 with 18 shutouts.
She earned a Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education, and is pursuing a Master's in Education and School Counseling.
A native of Akron, Ohio, O'Neill attended St. Vincent-St. Mary High School.
