Liz Tamas assumes the role of graduate assistant coach for the 2018-19 John Carroll University swimming & diving season. She is currently working on achieving her master's in business and administration at JCU.
A 2015 graduate of Cleveland State University, where she earned a Bachelors' degree in Health Science and minored in Health Care Management, Tamas was a four-year member of the Vikings swim team. She was a team captain as a senior.
Tamas is a local product, having competed for four years at Magnificat High School in Rocky River. She earned four letters and was a four-time state qualifier. Also a team captain for her high school team as a senior, Tamas was the team MVP in her junior and senior seasons at Magnificat.
