Dejan Mladenovic '06, '25G (pronounced MLA-den-oh-vich) was named Senior Deputy Athletic Director on January 20, 2026.
In this role, Mladenovic handles additional administrative responsibilities while remaining the Men’s Soccer Head Coach. Mladenovic is in his 21st year working at John Carroll.
Mladenovic is the department's liasion to the NCAC, adidas, and BSN. He is a facilitator for the coaching staff, guiding a wide variety of special projects. Internally, Mladenovic is the athletic department contact for Enrollment, Advancemnt, Alumni, and IMC.
In spring 2025, Mladenovic added the title of Assistant Athletic Director for Special Projects. In this role, Mladenovic enhanced collaboration between the 40+ coaches in the department and the administration, serves as the liaison to the enrollment office in order to improve efficiency in the recruiting process, works alongside the advancement office to improve fundraising within athletics, and takes on specific strategic projects, in support of the VP for Athletics, as the environment around college athletics evolves.
