Dejan Mladenovic '06, '25G (pronounced MLA-den-oh-vich) was named Senior Deputy Athletic Director on January 20, 2026.
In this role, Mladenovic will hand additional administrative responsibilities while remaining the Men’s Soccer Head Coach. Mladenovic is in his 20th year at John Carroll.
In spring 2025, Mladenovic added the title of Assistant Athletic Director for Special Projects. In this role, Mladenovic enhances collaboration between the 40+ coaches in the department and the administration, serves as the liaison to the enrollment office in order to improve efficiency in the recruiting process, works alongside the advancement office to improve fundraising within athletics, and takes on specific strategic projects, in support of the VP for Athletics, as the environment around college athletics evolves.
