Pizzuli has been a top finisher for the Blue Streaks in past two matches against Cleveland State and at the Catholic Invitational Tournament. Against Cleveland State, Pizzuli won in the 157 lb weight class as one of the only two victories in the match. At the National Catholic Invitational, Pizzuli finished in third place with a 2-1 finish in the 157 lb weight class.
